I am using release vicidialnos ce 1.1 - after 4 days trying every imaginable, googling, forums, lower case, upper case, mix of both, changed keyboard, installed on different pc, I decided to downloaded it again (http://ftp.vicidialnow.org/pub/VicidialNOW/1.1/ISO/ and burned a new install cd. BUT still keeps on rejecting "vicidialnow" as root password. login in admin.php is OK however.

I'm not really sure what's happening on your end. All the systems that we configured using VicidialNOW 1.1 has "vicidialnow" as root password. Try logging in as "cron" with password "test" then su as root.

Hi Mark! First, I like to thank the VicidialNOW team for a great software you have. I've been using it for 2 clients and it works fine. I just have one question for the newest version you have.. The vicidialnow ce 1.1, im having problem with the IVR. But when I tried the VicidialNOW 1rc2 it's working well. The problem is I'm having problem with the installation of 1rc2 version on that server. Please help.. Thanks! Have a great day!

Over a month, I still could not solve the login problem. I did change keyboard, re-installed it couple times. Even download it twice and burned 3 CDs. I can login the web interface and via admin.php is OK, but since user root passwd vicidialnow is just retreiving me "login incorrect" , can not configure not even eth0 interface..... The only thing I would think of, is the fact that we are using spanish keyboards. Nevertheless, "vicidialnow" does not involve special characters......Could I be the only spanish guy who tried VicidialNOW?????

My Friend the default password for the root is vicidialnow not "vicidialnow". And it works for everybody else out there. BinYamin
